Sketch the rooms or import a floor plan as a PNG, then mark the places inside them — wardrobes, shelves, boxes, drawers — with the names you actually use: “Shelf 2”, “Red cables box”. Or pick them from a list: they are laid out on the plan for you, already furnished.
Say where you put something; ask where something is. The search box answers with the whole path — Garage › Shelf 1 › Blue box — with a mouse and keyboard or with your thumb.
“Moved the red cables box from the storage room to the guest-room wardrobe” moves the box and everything in it. Every change lands in a history, and any of them can be undone.
